Nirvana is one of my favorite bands. I can't believe how many times I've heard (and sang) these lyrics and not realized that “On a Plain” qualified as Mail Music?!
If you follow Mail Music Monday you know that July 1 was a Monday this year and it was the 50th birthday of the implementation of the Postal Service Department ZIP Code. We decided to celebrate all month so my challenge was to find at least five songs that in some way mentioned ‘ZIP Code.” There's only one more Mail Music Monday left in July so I need to come up with one more mail music song that mentions “ZIP Code” or actually has the numbers of a ZIP Code or, well, you get the picture, right? Would love some help from you and I'll definitely give you credit if I use your suggestion on Mail Music Monday.
