United States Postal Service Full Service Approved
It's always a challenge coming up with snail mail related songs. There are lots of them out there but I like to see if I can attach them to a current event or holiday. And so many of the songs about mail are sad. I like to start the week with something that's a little energizing or at least cheerful.
I chose this fun song by The Memphis Jug Band, performed by California Honey Drops, to celebrate California's admission into the Union as the thirty-first state. It's celebrated annually on September 9th. The song is called “Letter From My Darlin”. I like it and I hope you do, too!
