Here's one to put some pep in your prep! I chose “8am” by The Summer Obsession for several reasons. Of course, first and foremost is the mention of snail mail, always a prerequisite for a Mail Music Monday tune. The band originated in Florida and we are celebrating the near miss of Tropical Storm/Hurricane Isaac for most of that state. Also, summer is coming to an end and the kids need to be up early for school. I wonder how many asked their parents to “get me up early” as the song lyrics say?
